I had a high ankle sprain (complete tear of AITFL). Dr. Pino was thorough in his evaluation of my injury and recommended surgery. Although I was not sure whether I needed surgery or not (he unfortunately did not elaborate on it too much, might be something he needs to work on), I went ahead with it and I am currently in the recovery process. He has been very accessible throughout this time and I did call quite a few times with questions and he promptly and professionally responded. A few weeks afterwards, he did give a comprehensive and detailed report on what was wrong and how surgery was necessitated. The more I read on this topic, the more I can say with surety that the right decision was made. Would recommend for foot/ankle injury or other issues.
